It seemed to me that the fabric was alive — workshops with the Texpol group

We invite you to co-create an installation that stores the memory of other people's bodies and dreams. The workshop on threading beads, buttons and peas will be led by Texpol — a group of eight creative people working in textiles.

On November 7, following the fairy tale of princesses on the pea, we will look for connections between textiles and body, fabric and text. We will string beads together and read stories about comfort, rest and duration in discomfort. What we create will become part of the installation.

We invite all people looking for community artistic activities. The event is open and workshop. You can join at any time — reading, listening, stringing the beans or just being with us.

From 4 to 6 November, we encourage you to visit Žyjna during its opening hours and join the joint creative work around the installation, with which we will enter into a multi-dimensional dialogue on November 7.
