On October 28, 2026, Zdzisław Lachur's works, donated to the Museum in Gliwice by the Jürgen Dawo Foundation, will begin at the Memorial House of Upper Silesian Jews. The exhibition will present nearly twenty works, showing artistic reflection on the tragic experiences of the Second World War, human suffering and cruelty.
One of the most important and frequently taken up by the artist was the extermination of the Jewish community. Lachur portrayed dramatic events through the prism of personal memories, using expressive lines and intense colors.
