About the event

Ze Sztuka na Ty is a modern series of intergenerational educational workshops for children and adults, which encourages the joint discovery of contemporary art through direct contact with works from the Bunker Art Collection.

The second cycle of the project is aimed at school-age youth (grades 5—7) and their parents and guardians. Each meeting begins with a joint introduction, and then participants work in their groups, learning different artistic techniques and creating their own works of art. Through parallel workshops for youth and adults, all participants — regardless of age — can experience and interpret the art and then share their insights.

Parents and guardians during the workshop will not only gain knowledge about the tools of working with children and supporting their creative development, but will also immerse themselves in the world of art, deepen their artistic experience and create their own works.

The program includes a total of 14 meetings for children and adults, divided into two cycles carried out from May to November 2026. The aim of the project is to develop creativity, aesthetic sensitivity and cultural competences such as dialogue, openness to different perspectives and a conscious perception of contemporary art. The workshops also support the building of intergenerational relationships and encourage active participation in culture.

What power do souvenirs have? Why is it difficult to throw away old toys? What to do with the vast amount of things that surround us? During the workshop we will see Marta Antoniak's work “Carpet II” and talk about collecting, nostalgia and how objects store memories. We will create our own carpet assemblages full of memories.

Educator Agata Kokoryn is responsible for the program of workshops for children and their implementation.

The work “Carpet II” combines two dimensions in a very bold way. An object that has become a symbol of transformation, found in many apartments, a carpet with massively produced figurines of kinder surprises iconic and coveted by children growing up in the nineties. Marta Antoniak thus refers to her own childhood, creating an imprecise story about Polish identity. Using small elements from the surrounding space, we will create decorative compositions that will become a souvenir of the past.

Educator Katarzyna Grudniewska is responsible for the program of workshops for adults and their implementation.
