Ze Sztuka na Ty is a modern series of intergenerational educational workshops for children and adults, which encourages the joint discovery of contemporary art through direct contact with works from the Bunker Art Collection.
The second cycle of the project is aimed at school-age youth (grades 5—7) and their parents and guardians. Each meeting begins with a joint introduction, and then participants work in their groups, learning different artistic techniques and creating their own works of art. Through parallel workshops for youth and adults, all participants — regardless of age — can experience and interpret the art and then share their insights.
Parents and guardians during the workshop will not only gain knowledge about the tools of working with children and supporting their creative development, but will also immerse themselves in the world of art, deepen their artistic experience and create their own works.
The program includes a total of 14 meetings for children and adults, divided into two cycles carried out from May to November 2026. The aim of the project is to develop creativity, aesthetic sensitivity and cultural competences such as dialogue, openness to different perspectives and a conscious perception of contemporary art. The workshops also support the building of intergenerational relationships and encourage active participation in culture.
What kind of animal could you be? What would happen if our bodies had tentacles, tails, horns and wings? Where is the line between humans and the non-human world? How does the singing crochet jellyfish in the middle of the forest act on us? Inspired by Małgorzata Markiewicz's “Meduza” project, we will design and sew textile new parts of our bodies: tentacles, fins, antennae, which will be able to be put on and check how the body moves with the new organ.
Educator Agata Kokoryn is responsible for the program of workshops for children and their implementation.
The contemporary role of women is key in the work of the Krakow artist. Małgorzata Markiewicz discovers new layers of social inequality and male domination with pietism. The mythical Medusa turning people into stone, dressed in a crocheted shell, became the main heroine of the performance. The workshop will allow us to create our own personalized fabrics, from which we will sew a sachet for small items. It will become for each participant a symbol of the liberation of the creative energy of women.
Educator Katarzyna Grudniewska is responsible for the program of workshops for adults and their implementation.
