Silesian Song and Dance Ensemble — Travels with Silesia

The program presents stylized folk costumes from many regions of Poland and Europe, we can admire them, among others: original and unique Greek “Zorba”, “Slovak Dances” or exuberant “Hungarian Dances”.

The choreographers of this concert are: Elwira Kamińska, Władysław Stefanik, Hanna Chojnacka and Juraj Kubánka. In it we can hear songs such as: “O sole mio” and “La Montanara”, which transport listeners to sunny Italy. The nostalgic song “Greensleeves”, on the other hand, introduces the atmosphere of the British Isles.

The level of performance of the ballet, choir and orchestra of the “Silesia” Ensemble guarantees a performance at the highest artistic level, and the selection of repertoire means that the spectator is invited to travel almost all over Europe.
