Author's meeting with Edward Czernek — “Beskid Land, I loved you”

The Jacek Lech Municipal House of Culture invites young people, adults and seniors to a special evening of poetry, tradition and love for our small homeland, from 17:00 to 19:00, on 21 October.

Edward Czernek is an artist deeply rooted in the Beskid landscape and local culture. Although his roots go back to Łodygowice, it was the charming Kalna that became the main muse of his work — a land presented as an oasis of harmony, abundance and mutual respect.

In the stanzas of his poems, a note of nostalgia for the former calm life, running in the natural rhythm of nature, clearly sounds. During the meeting, the author will talk about his inspirations, his creative path and the relationship with the earth, which has shaped and inspired him for years.

Musical setting performed by Ladies from the Circle of Rural Housewives from Kalna, whose performance will brighten up the event and bring a real, regional atmosphere.

This meeting is an excellent opportunity to stop for a moment in the daily routine, immerse yourself in the idyllic world of Beskid poetry and spend time in a warm, communal atmosphere.
