Cold shower

The estranged couple have embarked on one last trip together to sell a house in Spain. Tired of a long drive on a hot day, they stop for an overnight stay somewhere in the south of France. The hotel is under renovation, and in the only available room there is only a double bed and only hot water in the bathroom. There is nothing left but to drink wine and go to bed. Both try to be courteously polite to each other, but they cannot hide their disappointments and after a short time they will pour out their grievances on each other, wash the marital dirt and kick each other - from which we will learn the whole story of a failed relationship.

A “cold shower” is a marital tragedy, which will consist of accurate observations of human behavior in intimate situations. The author, with the grace of an expert, reveals to the viewer the mechanisms of the hopeless game between a woman and a man, their unconscious psychological resentments, unspoken mutual expectations, inhibitions, disappointments — the hell of the conjugal chase and the fiasco of therapeutic methods.
