Change

“Change”, directed by Ewa Pilawska, is the premiere in the series “A Child in a Situation”. The play was written especially for our Theatre by Monika Czajkowska. The premiere took place on October 3, 2025 at EXPO-Łódź. All performances aimed at young people will be combined with workshops.

The show takes up the theme of the constant change that we are subject to as humans on our journey. Changes in body, mentality, thinking. “Change” focuses on changes related to puberty — primarily the experiences that young people experience when their bodies begin to change during this period and the emotions that accompany this process. The show is an attempt to answer the question of why this is still accompanied by so much shame and what can be done to change this state of affairs. In addition to the topic of changes occurring in the body, the topic of adolescent sexuality is also important, which is still taboo, although it is a natural stage in the psychophysical development of every young person.
