Let's take a break

The film tells the story of three couples of different ages who made one decision: to take a “pause for reflection”. For 40-year-old Fabrizia (Fabio Volo), it's an emotional disaster that hides much more than meets the eye; for his partner Valeria (Ilenia Pastorelli), it's the perfect opportunity to put his life in order. Valter (Marco Giallini), almost sixty years old, experiences the separation as an unacceptable affront on the part of Fiorelli (Claudia Gerini), his wife of thirty years: for her it is a necessity, for him an open wound. Finally, nineteen-year-old Erica (Aurora Giovinazzo) considers the breakup to be an annoying, unexpected event, while Gabriel, whom she met online, uses her as a screen to hide a journey of personal discovery that he never dared to embark on.
