About the event

A meeting with Barbara Brygida Krupa dedicated to Zygmunt Haupt's book Publicystyka (Publicystyka Zygmunt Haupt) on the air of Voice of America between 1951 and 1960 (Wydawnictwo UMK 2026).

Zygmunt Haupt worked for the radio station Głos América between 1951 and 1958. His broadcasts were devoted to literary, cultural and scientific life in the USA. Most of them are strictly informative and popularizing, however, stories about texts, genres and literary and musical currents are of particular value. There were also programs on the air that introduced the customs and everyday life of Americans.
