Lotte Pritzel — Wrocław woman from an artistic family who moved as a teenager
to Munich, where she joined the local bohemia. She began to create art dolls from wax around 1908. Typically, their slender silhouettes were captured in motion, and their clothes were decorated with lace and glass beads. Her works quickly gained notoriety and were shown at various exhibitions. During her creative activity, the artist made about 200 dolls, but less than 40 have survived to this day.
